Upward
Toward the black infinity I gaze
Absorbing torrid brilliance of myriad suns ablaze
Inward
Radiate and silence now the weary mind
Shine upon the mirrored vastness as of yet confined
Within
The insignificance may feed and grow
But only when left idle in the soils of ego
Without
Mundial chains impermanence surrenders threat
The void ultimately consumes all that it will beget
Rid
All minds
Of fear for their demise
Such
Beauty
Above in boundless skies
Profound
The truth
It speaks without a sound
Allow its wisdom to confound and astound
All of life must come to an end
Consciousness renews once again
The sting of death no longer offends
Abandon fear to truly ascend
Reflected timelessness behind the eyes
Beholding what it is to see
The true low in egoic highs
That drag one further undersea
Let your hands and mind be free
Let your hands and mind be free
Let your hands and mind be free of the burden of doubt!
Jordan Vauvert
I wasn't ready for this album, but it burst into my life through a brick wall like the Kool-Aid man on methamphetamines and beat the living daylights out of me just for the hell of it. As others have mentioned, this is an unrelenting and vicious slab of chaotic blackened death metal that levels everything in its path, takes no prisoners, and is not for the weak of heart. If there is a Guinness Book of World Record entry for metal, then the drummer of this band should be included. PannionSeer

Jordan Vauvert
